Cyprus-specific configuration
Country and currency set to Cyprus/EUR, shipping rules in the account, VAT included, multilingual feed for Greek and English listings.
Scheduled auto-updates
Feed refreshes on a schedule so prices, stock and availability stay in sync with your site — no more disapprovals for stale data.
Which platforms we connect to Google Merchant Center
How we get your Google Merchant feed approved — 4 steps
Feed audit & catalog mapping

Data correction & enrichment
GTIN, brand, condition, availability, VAT-inclusive pricing, Google categories, image compliance — fixed before submission.
Feed generation & validation
We build the feed, run pre-submission checks against Merchant Center rules, and fix discrepancies between site and feed.

Product Feed for Google Merchant Center: Get Approved, Not Just Uploaded
Why "the feed is uploaded" doesn't mean you're selling
We regularly take over projects where a feed was generated, submitted to Google Merchant Center, and then... silence. No impressions, no clicks, no sales. The reason is almost always the same: the feed was technically accepted, but products were rejected during review. Your feed can be live while every single item sits with "Disapproved" status. That's the gap we close.
What actually blocks products in Merchant Center
- Price mismatch — the price in your feed doesn't match the price on the product page, even by a few cents. Google checks this automatically and disapproves the item
- Missing GTIN — for branded products, Google expects a valid GTIN. Without it, performance is limited or the item is rejected outright
- No shipping and return policy on the website — Google verifies that your store clearly states delivery terms and return conditions. If the policy page is missing or vague, products get flagged
- Out-of-stock items still in the feed — if availability says "in stock" but the product page shows otherwise, trust drops and the item is disapproved
What we set up for a Cyprus store
- Country and currency — target Cyprus with EUR pricing, or expand to Greece and other EU markets with correct regional settings
- Cyprus delivery in Merchant Center — configure shipping zones, rates, and estimated delivery times so Google can display accurate delivery info
- VAT handling — prices in the feed must include VAT for Cyprus and EU customers. We verify that your catalog prices match what Google expects
- Multilingual feed — for stores targeting both Greek and English speakers, we build feeds with correct language attributes and localized titles
Required attributes we configure
- GTIN — for products that have barcodes. We flag items where GTIN is missing and help you source or assign correct identifiers
- Brand — every product needs a brand attribute, even for generic items. We set up rules to populate it automatically
- Condition — new, used, refurbished. Getting this wrong causes instant disapproval
- Availability — in stock, out of stock, preorder. We sync this with your actual inventory
- Price with VAT — the exact amount a customer pays at checkout, not a rounded or outdated figure
Google product categories
Assigning the correct Google product category for every item is tedious but critical. Wrong categories lead to poor matching and wasted budget. We map your entire catalog to Google's taxonomy, including variants like size, color, and material.
Product variants and images
- Variants — each size, color, or configuration gets its own entry with correct item_group_id, so Google shows the right option in Shopping ads
- Images — Google has strict requirements: white or neutral background, no watermarks, no promotional text, minimum resolution. We audit your images and tell you exactly which ones will be rejected
Automated feed updates
Your feed shouldn't be a one-time export. We set up scheduled updates from your catalog — hourly, daily, or weekly — so prices, availability, and new products sync automatically. No manual CSV uploads, no forgotten updates.
Connecting to Shopping campaigns and free listings
Once the feed is approved, we link Merchant Center to Google Ads for Shopping campaigns and enable free product listings. This gives you both paid and organic visibility in Google Shopping results.

Frequently asked questions
- How long does Google Merchant Center review take? — Typically 3-14 days. New accounts and large catalogs may take longer. We monitor the process and respond to any flags
- What if my products don't have GTINs? — For unbranded or handmade items, you can use "identifier_exists" with value "no". For branded products, you may need to source GTINs from the manufacturer
- How often is the feed updated? — We configure automatic updates based on your needs: hourly for fast-changing inventory, daily for most stores, weekly for small catalogs
- Do I need a separate Google account? — You need a Google account with access to Merchant Center. We can work with your existing account or help you create a new one
- What about products that are out of stock? — We set rules to automatically mark them as "out of stock" in the feed or temporarily exclude them, so Google doesn't show unavailable items
