Work on an existing website

The website already exists and something is wrong with it — we investigate and fix it

Seven different types of work on a third-party website: emergency repair, version updates, recovery after a hack, restoring control, audit before purchase, speed optimisation and migration from a website builder. Each has its own diagnostics, timeline and price. Any of them starts with an assessment at €190.

Choosing a service

Which service to order for an existing website

In short: if the site is down — emergency repair; if it works but is slow — speed optimization; if the hosting requires a newer PHP version — version upgrade; if there are third-party redirects in the code — post-hack recovery; if you have no access — regaining control; if the site is being purchased — pre-deal audit; if you have hit Tilda or Wix limits — migration from the website builder. Not sure — start with an analysis for €190, it is the same for all cases.

Most often people start with this

Emergency repair

from €290

Form is not sending, payment is not going through, 500 error, layout broke after an update. First a written analysis of the cause, then a fixed price for the work.

1–2 days When the site is broken

Version upgrade

from €390

Hosting is removing the old PHP version, plugins have stopped updating, the framework has fallen behind by a major version. Compatibility check on a copy, switching without downtime.

2–5 days When the version is outdated

After a hack

from €690

Redirects to third-party pages, Google warning, hosting block. We locate the entry point, clean the site, close the vulnerability and remove sanctions.

1–3 days When the site is infected

Regaining control

from €190

The domain is registered to the developer, there are no passwords, the contractor does not respond. Ownership map, domain recovery through the registrar, transfer to your accounts.

1–3 weeks When there is no access

Pre-purchase audit

from €190

We review the site from the buyer's perspective: domain rights, real traffic sources, penalty history, code condition. Report with conclusions and a remediation estimate.

1–5 days When buying a business

Site speed optimization

from €490

PageSpeed in the red zone, mobile users leave before loading, advertising costs rise. Measurement, prioritized fix plan, before/after report on Core Web Vitals.

1–2 weeks When it loads slowly

Moving from a website builder

from €490

Tilda or Wix are no longer enough: no integrations, the site is in someone else's account, the subscription keeps growing. We transfer the content, page URLs and rankings to your own site.

1–4 weeks When you hit the limits
How it works

Any of these jobs follows the same process

01

We review the site

We need the address and one line about the task. Some checks are done using public data — no access is needed at this step and we do not ask for it.

02

We send a written breakdown

What is happening, what to fix now, what can be postponed, how much it costs and how long it will take. The document is yours: you can take it to any contractor.

03

We work according to the agreed estimate

Before starting, a backup is made, edits are made on a copy where possible, and deployment is done in an agreed window. The price is fixed before the start, not after the fact.

04

We check and hand over

We run through what was broken, plus adjacent areas. We provide a short report: what was done, what remains, and what to watch next.

Price for the work

How much work on an existing website costs

Range €190–€1490 per job, monitoring from €49 per month. The price is fixed after the breakdown, before work begins.

FAQ · Work with an existing website

Frequently asked questions about working with a third-party website

Will you take on a website you didn't build?
Yes, this entire section is about third-party websites. The platform doesn't matter: WordPress, Bitrix, Tilda, Shopify, or custom PHP — the price is the same. What exactly we examine in third-party code is described on the emergency repair page.
How do I know which of the seven services I need?
By the symptom: it doesn't work — repair, it works slowly — speed optimization, the hosting requires a newer PHP version — version upgrade, third-party redirects in the code — post-hack cleanup, no access — control recovery, you're buying a business — pre-purchase audit, the website builder is too limiting — migration. If there are several symptoms, start with an audit: it is the same for all services and costs €190.
Why is the audit paid?
Because that is the main work: finding the cause in someone else's code takes longer than fixing a line. The audit costs €190, is included in the cost of further work, and its result is a written document that remains with you regardless of whether we continue or not.
What access do you need?
For a first look — none: speed, versions, domain and traces of sanctions are visible from the outside. For the work we need hosting and admin access, otherwise it is impossible to make a backup or deploy a fix. If there is no access at all, this is a separate task — regaining control of the site.
Do you fix on the live site?
Where possible — on a copy, then we transfer during an agreed window. Where a copy cannot be set up, we make a backup and fix surgically, with the ability to roll back within a minute. The pre-intervention backup remains with you in any case.
What to do if the site is down right now?
Do not delete or reinstall anything: this is how traces of the cause are lost. Write to Telegram and mark it as urgent — during working hours we take it on the same day. The procedure is described on the emergency repair page.
Who manages the site after you fix it?
You can do it yourself — we hand over access, backups and instructions. Or we can: monitoring, updates and backups are included in site support from €49 per month. There is no lock-in with us in either option.
What if it is cheaper to build a new site than to fix this one?
We will say so during the audit and show two invoices side by side. This happens more often than it seems: an engine no longer supported, missing source files, a site inside someone else's builder account. What we build from scratch and at what prices — in the all services section.

Someone else's site is not a verdict. We will start with the cause.
