Why React Native

React Native advantages when you already run React on the web

One team, two platforms

Your existing React developers pick up React Native in days — same patterns, same hooks, same way of thinking

Shared TypeScript logic

API types, validation, auth flows and business rules move between web and mobile without rewriting a line

App Store and Google Play

We handle signing, certificates, store listings and review submissions — your app goes live in both stores

Expo and native modules

Expo covers camera, push, location and payments out of the box. When it doesn't, we write a native module

OTA updates without store review

Ship JS-level fixes and improvements instantly via over-the-air updates — no waiting for Apple or Google approval

Connects to your existing API

Your current REST or GraphQL backend works as-is. No new endpoints, no separate mobile API layer

Analytics and CI/CD

Crash reporting, analytics and automated builds from day one — releases stay boring and predictable

Process

How we build React Native apps — 4 steps

01

Scoping and prototype

We map out screens, user flows and integrations. We decide what can be reused from your existing React web app and what needs native code. You get a clickable prototype before development starts.

02

Design and architecture

UI for iOS and Android, built with TypeScript and Expo. We structure shared types, state and navigation so your web team can read and contribute to the codebase from day one.

03

Development and integrations

We build in TypeScript and connect payments, push notifications, maps and your backend. Releases every sprint — you test builds on real devices through TestFlight and Google Play Internal.

04

Publishing and support

We handle developer accounts, icons, screenshots and store listings. We pass Apple and Google review, ship the release, and keep the app updated with OTA fixes and ongoing support.

About React Native

React Native in Cyprus — when it pays for itself

If your company already runs a web frontend on React, building a separate native team for iOS and Android is rarely the smartest spend. React Native lets the same people who maintain your web app ship mobile apps too — shared components, shared TypeScript types, shared business logic. For a Cyprus business, that means one team instead of three, a realistic budget starting at €4490, and an MVP typically live in 8–12 weeks.

The island's audience switches between Greek, English and Russian daily. We set up multilingual support from the first commit — not just translated strings, but locale-aware dates, currency formatting and RTL-safe layouts when needed. It stops being a feature and becomes part of the architecture, so adding a language later doesn't mean refactoring half the app.

Publishing has its own rules. Apple and Google require developer accounts, and for a Cyprus company it's worth registering them under the legal entity from day one — transferring an app from a personal account later is painful. The same goes for payments: Stripe, Revolut Business and Viva work well locally, and if you sell digital goods, the 30% store commission should be part of the business model before you write a line of code.

FAQ · React Native

FAQ about React Native development

How much does a React Native app cost?
An MVP for iOS and Android starts from €4490. Business apps with payments, push notifications and CRM integration — from €10900. Larger products with a web version, user accounts and custom native modules — from €21900. We give a precise quote after reviewing your screens and integration list.
How long does development take?
MVP — 8-12 weeks. Business app — 3-4 months. Complex product — from 4 months. The timeline depends on the number of screens, integrations and whether your backend is already in place.
React Native or native development (Swift/Kotlin)?
For most business apps React Native is the better deal: one codebase instead of two, faster updates, and you reuse your existing web team. Pure native makes sense when you need heavy 3D graphics, complex gestures, intensive camera or Bluetooth work. At the scoping stage we'll tell you honestly which option is yours.
React Native or Flutter?
Flutter gives a more predictable UI because it draws its own interface. React Native wins when you already have a React web frontend — shared logic, shared types, and one team for web and mobile. If your business runs on React, React Native is usually the cheaper path.
Can we reuse our existing React web code?
Yes, that's the main economic argument. Shared TypeScript types, API clients, business logic and state management move across with minimal changes. Your web developers can contribute to the mobile app from day one — no separate mobile team needed.
Do you publish the app to the App Store and Google Play?
Yes, in full. We set up developer accounts under your legal entity, prepare icons, screenshots and copy, pass Apple and Google review and ship the release. After that we help with updates.
What are OTA updates and what can't they do?
OTA updates let you ship JavaScript changes instantly without waiting for App Store or Google Play review. You can fix bugs, tweak UI and update business logic. You can't add new native modules, change app permissions or update the native shell — those still require a store release.
Do we need a Mac to build the app?
For development, no — you can work on Windows or Linux. For building and publishing the iOS version, a Mac is required. We handle the entire build and release process for you, so you don't need to buy one.
What about performance compared to native?
For typical business apps — cabinets, delivery, loyalty programs, booking, internal tools — React Native performance is indistinguishable from native. The JavaScript bridge can become a bottleneck with heavy graphics or complex animations. We'll flag that early if it applies to your project.
What about support after launch?
We take the app on for ongoing support: updates for new iOS and Android versions, fixes, new features. The format is hourly or a monthly block of hours, under an SLA for the Product tier. We agree the terms in advance.
