The .cy zone is managed by the registry at the University of Cyprus, and registering .com.cy requires proof that the company or brand is connected to Cyprus. It's not a one-click online purchase like .com: it takes documents and careful handling. We go through this procedure for you and register the domain to your company, not to the studio — so you don't depend on a contractor and keep control of the asset at all times.
A Cyprus business is almost always multilingual: the same site is read in English, Greek and Russian. This affects hosting — character encodings, correct delivery of email in every language, sometimes separate subdomains or language versions.
