How we build an online store — 4 steps
Analysis and catalogue
We count the number of products, variations, payment and delivery methods. We lock in the platform and the quote. We prepare the catalogue and filter structure.
Storefront design
Mockups for the homepage, product page, cart and checkout. Mobile-first layout, since most orders in Cyprus come from phones.
Build and integrations
We build the storefront, connect JCC/Stripe, delivery, VAT, and the EN/RU/EL languages. We set up order emails and analytics.
Testing and launch
We run test payments and orders, check mobile and speed. We launch, hand over access and give a short walkthrough of the admin panel.

E-commerce in Cyprus — what matters to know
Card payments in Cyprus most often go through JCC Smart, the local bank acquiring service. For international cards and subscriptions, Stripe is more convenient. They are often used together: JCC for local customers, Stripe for tourists and orders from abroad. Check the fees and merchant account setup times with your bank in advance — it can take a couple of weeks and runs in parallel with development.
VAT in Cyprus is 19%, and the store must display prices correctly and calculate the tax on the receipt and in the order email. Delivery is usually handled through ACS Courier and Cyprus Post, plus in-store pickup and zones (Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos). For the local market this is critical: the customer wants to see the cost and delivery time to their city right in the cart.
The island's audience is multilingual: local Greeks, expats, Russian speakers, tourists. That is why an EN/RU/EL storefront is not an option but the norm. Most visits come from phones, so the mobile version and a fast checkout matter more than a beautiful desktop animation. We choose the platform by volume: WooCommerce for a start, Shopify if you need a quick launch without your own hosting, Magento or RecCMS for a large catalogue and accounting integrations.
