Process

How we build Headless CMS — 4 steps

01

Content and channel review

We look at what content you have and where it needs to go: website, app, points of sale. We count entry types and languages, then lock down the quote and timeline.

02

CMS choice and data schema

We select a headless engine to match your load and budget. We design content models, multilingual fields and editor roles, and agree the API contract with the frontend.

03

Frontend development and build

We stand up the Next.js frontend, connect the CMS via API, and set up previews and caching. We migrate content, build templates for EN/RU/EL, and handle SEO and speed.

04

Launch and handover

We deploy to production with CDN and SSL, train your editors and hand over documentation. After that: support and the rollout of new channels on request.

About Headless CMS

Headless CMS in Cyprus — what you should know

Cypriot businesses almost always operate in three languages: English for tourists and expats, Greek for locals, and Russian for the large Russian-speaking community. In a traditional CMS, three languages turn into three copies of the site that drift apart with the very first edit. Headless solves this at the data level: one entry holds every language and the frontend shows the right one. Content is never duplicated, and prices and copy never fall out of sync.

The main advantage of headless for a growing company is that content lives separately from the storefront. Today it powers a Next.js website; tomorrow a mobile app, screens in a showroom or a restaurant menu. Everything pulls from a single API. There is no need to maintain content in three places: update a promotion once and it appears everywhere. For chains, franchises and companies with several locations across the island, this saves hours of routine work every week.

One key question is who will do the editing. Headless does not mean "hard for people". We set up a clear admin panel with previews and drafts so a marketer or manager can edit copy without a developer. And we account for the local infrastructure: .cy and .com.cy domains, payments through JCC and Viva, GDPR and EU data storage, and speed for visitors from Cyprus and across Europe via CDN.

FAQ · Headless CMS

Headless CMS FAQ

How much does a Headless CMS project cost?
Start — from €3990 for a Next.js website with one headless engine and three languages. A business-level build with integrations — from €7900; a full omni-channel hub — from €14900. We give an exact quote after reviewing your content and channels.
How long does development take?
A starter project — 4-6 weeks. A business build with integrations — 6-10 weeks. Omni-channel with an app and complex relationships — from 10 weeks. We fix the timeline in the contract once the content schema is agreed.
Strapi, Sanity, Contentful or Directus — which to choose?
It depends on your goals. Strapi and Directus are open-source, run on your own server, have no subscription fees, and are great for control and budget. Sanity and Contentful are cloud-based, convenient for teams and heavy loads, but carry a monthly fee. We pick to fit your case, not the trend.
Headless CMS or a regular Next.js website — what's the difference?
Next.js here is the frontend, the storefront. A Headless CMS is a separate content store that feeds not only the site but also apps, screens and campaigns via API. If you have several channels or plan to grow, headless pays off. If you only need one simple site, a lighter solution is sometimes enough.
Will our own staff be able to edit the content?
Yes. We set up a clear admin panel with previews, drafts and roles. A marketer or manager edits copy, prices and photos without a developer. At launch we run a training session and hand over a short guide.
Do you support three languages, EN/RU/EL?
Yes, multilingual support is standard for Cyprus. One entry holds every language, and the frontend serves the right one with server-side rendering for SEO. Copy is never duplicated and never drifts apart across edits.
What about support after launch?
We hand over the project with documentation and access credentials — it is yours. After that it is your choice: one-off work billed by the hour, or a support package with an SLA, updates and the rollout of new channels. No forced lock-in.
